So this is how Jojo takes her meds twice a day. Don't mind the Tramadol bottle color, as the bottle it came in from the pharmacy had a tad of spillage on the outside from when they poured it in. Not a big deal, and not a hazard. Putting her meds on grapes was discussed with our avian vets. For any parront (bird owner) please discuss it with your AVIAN vet first. We have good and bad news about Jojo... Kidney disease has been diagnosed. We are heartbroken about the diagnosis, but we will provide the best care we can for her to support her. Its all in the video....

Thank You to everyone who has helped Jojo! She has improved an incredible amount, and still there is more to go. But, we are thrilled to share with you Jojo's new digs :)

So sorry we have taken a bit.. After a major disaster in our home, we were sidetracked. But... Jojo is definitely improving! We are happy to report she is perching, holding her head up and beginning to show more signs of being a healthy parrot again :) Vet rehab continues tomorrow, and we will provide another update after that.

Here is a quick update for everyone following Jojo, who lived in the round cage before coming to SPR. More to follow as we will continue to provide updates on her progress. The vets have said the rehab success is 80%, it begins this Thursday ☺ Yes, more Pebble will be on the way very soon too!
